Produced at the Buffalo Trace distillery in Kentucky, William Larue Weller is brand of wheated bourbon. Many bourbons use rye in their mash bill which adds spice. The W L Weller bourbons substitute the rye with wheat to produce a softer, sweeter flavour.
The range includes W L Weller Special Reserve, Old Weller Antique and W L Weller 12 year old all bottled at 45% ABV. There are also some exceptional natural strength vintages though these are sadly hard to come by.
