After a tough day at work this hits the mark as a great nightcap! Nose: Homemade peanut brittle, violet crumble, flirting vanilla hiding in the background Palate: Enveloping molten browned toffee, a touch of sweet naval orange and a hint of golden rum Finish: Medium and drying, streaks of sherry, leaves me wanting more.

Macallan 12 Year Old Sherry Oak

NOSE: obviously sweet sherry and muscat grapes notes( muscat dessert wine) with a bit of floral nature to it. TASTE: marmalade with citrus and of course sweet sherry. FINISH: medium-length but rather decent and grapy. OVERALL IMPRESSION: a dram that people who never tried whisky would describe right away like "smells like sweet grapes".
