Glenrothes Robur Reserve

Compliments of Dad, visit to Sheffield. A slightly subdued bourbon aroma, very little alcohol or harshness. Smooth, not overly complex, caramel and alcohol come through. Quite nice, relaxed, although not extraordinary.

This is the first Glenrothes to be bottled by the Dutch label Archives. It was distilled on 6 June 1988 and bottled on 4 January 2012. It is very pale, indicating a rather inactive ex sherry cask.
