Celebration of the Cask is a series from Carn Mor (Morrison & Mackay) in which they bottle single casks at cask strength. A few years ago they added a sub range call Black Gold, reserved for sherried matured malts. They have about 16 already. I found this sample buried in my cabinet, and have no idea who gave it to me (if it was you, or you know who it was, please tell me! I feel terrible about this!) It is an old and now quite rare bottling of Glen Garioch, nicknamed (I believe) "light vatting," presumably as it is quite light in colour, suggesting refill bourbon barrels....
