I don't like caramel colouring agents in whisky. This whisky is more white pepper than smokey peat which is how it is described on the bottle. Bitter finish. I am sure a that few years back this was a nicer whisky but may be my palate is aging wisely.

Cragganmore was founded in 1869 in Ballindaloch. This is, of course, the heart of Speyside. The founder chose this location because of the Craggan burn that provides the water, but also the Strathspey Railway for transportation. This 14 Year Old appeared in 2007 by A.D. Rattray.
